Have been playing around with some macros to make canvas prints for my house.Really liked this one so I thought I would show you guys to see what you think.I really like trying different stuff every now and again and I think this will look really cool as a big canvas on my wall.

stunning colours around the base. real nice effect.
Great stuff Mel. I love the vibrant reds. If we don’t try new stuff then we’ll get stale.
Beautiful shot Mel. Looks like fire/fireworks. very well done.
Very nice Mel, really like the green/yellow against the vibrant red and just a hint of darkness towards the edges …
great colour, would like to see it square again cropping off the top. The out of focus area is a bit distracting to me. Have a look at that program that allows you to get a massive depth of field with macros. Can’t remember what it is called, type it in google. Basically you take up to 40 shots each with a slightly different focus. The software combines it all and you have a wickedly sharp image. Good for insects and stuff.
Thanks for the comments guys.Yeah i think i know the programe it is called Helicon focus, not sure how to spell it but this is a progam that does that as well.
Great shot mel…… still waiting for the shots from JFNP……..??
Great shot but I do agree with Fletch on the focusuing. I find your focal point interesting but maybe by combining two images you could have two points in focus….? I dunno
love the vibrancy of this one Mel ! I think the idea of more area in focus (that program CF mentioned) would improve it even further than a square crop. It will look fantastic and ‘happy’ in the home on canvas !
Combining two images!!! Dylan thats genius!! I am gonna try that myself!
Seriously!
I love this pic Mel, nice red colours !! I am looking for a black & white canvas for my house… can you hook me up?
Hey Slacker,
Where is the next photo?
Yeah ok…..
